Our Journey
From a Home Fellowship to a Growing Church Family
On 23 November 2014, Community Baptist Church South Sudan began as a home fellowship in Ayaung village, Aweil, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.
What began as a gathering of believers has, by God's grace, grown into a church family of approximately500 members.
Our journey is more than a story of numbers. It is a testimony of God's faithfulness and of ordinary people responding to His call to love, serve, witness and make disciples.
As the church has grown, its ministry has also reached beyond the original congregation. Today, CBC has26 sister churches, extending the witness of the Church into other communities.
We look toward the future with a vision to reach100 churches in the years ahead, trusting God to provide wisdom, strength and faithful servants for the work He has prepared.
